Welcome to my classroom! I am very happy to have your child in my
classroom. I believe that by all of us working together we can make this a very
successful year. I consider it of prime importance that you be an
active part of your child's education. You are invited
to email/phone me or visit the school when you have a question
concerning your child's progress.
If you have expertise in a specific field, an unusual hobby,
or have a different culture that you would like to share, please let me
know. I would be happy to visit with you about the possibility of your
sharing with the class.
I consider it a great privilege and responsibility to be your child's
teacher this year, and look forward to meeting each of you. Through the
remainder of this letter, I will share some of my beliefs and classroom
policies.
I believe that parent-teacher relationships are necessary
for maximum school success. Throughout the year I will communicate with parents
through notes, telephone calls, emails, report cards and parent-teacher
conferences. I encourage you to contact me if you have any questions or
concerns at any time. I am available for conferences regarding your
child’s progress from 8:00a.m. to 8:30am., and 3:45 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. by appointment on school
days.
